After fighting it for an hour we finally got it standing up and ready to begin the long slow trip back into it's place of origin. Notice the floor jacks holding the front up by the pin. We used a third floor jack on the rear to lift and slide it aft. The paint used on the bottom of the boat and the keel is slick as grease and made manuvering the keel both tricky and sometimes dangerous

We soon realized that my lowering the boat on the trailer (to make launching and recovery easier) it was going to mean we would have to raise the boat to get the keel back in. I built this hull support for the stern early on and used it many times to lift the boat up to work on the hull.

We used a door stand to keep the keel vertical and after lifting the hull by the bow several times we finally got the beast in the slot,

It was downhill from there and here it is finally in place. That's my oldest who helped me walking behind the boat. We rewarded ourselves with some fun afterwards
